if we’re having a discussion and I say something that you misinterpret and I try to politely correct you, please do not then turn around and tell me that I’m wrong in what I meant. no, I meant what I said. stop trying to tell me what I think.

I’m 19 years old and I still don’t know how to properly curl my hair or flip a coin. Whoops.

i know you’re going to be an amazing example in these girls’ lives, i just am selfish and i’m sorry. i care about them so much it hurts and i’m scared that when i come back, they’ll have stopped caring about me. but like we talked about tonight, everything is going to change, whether i like it or not. nothing will be the same after september 1. that hit me like a ton of bricks tonight.
